THE SKINNY: Wow! The best dancer has left the building. In the most stunning DANCING WITH THE STARS elimination yet, Joanna Krupa – who placed second last night in points - was axed from the show. The fan base for Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne must be enormous, something Mya should be worried about. Osmond made the cut with 13 less judges’ points than Mya. Osbourne made the finals with nine less points than Mya. And Mya made it because she placed first. And so, these are the three ... Osmond, Osbourne and Mya going into the finals next week.
However, it was a jam-packed evening with some cruel intentions. Alicia Keys sang. Leona Lewis performed. The two remaining Bee Gees got the crowd on their feet with the appropriately title "You Should Be Dancing." And The Weinstein Co. pimped their latest venture NINE with a musical performance from their upcoming film.
All the while all we really wanted to know was WHO MADE THE FINALS? Deliberately postponing the anticipation, ABC slowly and methodically revealed the three contenders, only they didn’t do it in a kindly manner. Three times Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris angst riddled the couples into thinking they were about to know their faite only to cut away to a commercial and then come back to a performance or video segment. C’mon ABC, I know you can’t just lay it all out there, other wise the show would be done in 30 seconds, but don’t tease us into thinking we are about to find out who is staying and who is going and then pull the rug out from under us. It’s not nice to tease the fans or the dancing duos.
The Encore: Mya and Dmitry Chaplin doing the Salsa
The Weakest Moment: As previously mentioned, the whole overly drawn out system of elimination this week. It’s like ABC thought we better intermittenly mention we are here for a specific reason otherwise the fans might forget. Yeah, right. Do it or don’t. Don’t tell us you are going to do something and then don’t do it. Shame on you!
The Best Moment: OK, besides The Bee Gees getting everyone up and excited, I know this is going to sound shocking coming from me but the video segments were pretty darn good this week. The final four talked about the strengths of their competitors, then the fab four lip-synced to the Billy Joel song "Pressure," ala a music video. And lastly the pros talked about all the choreography that goes into each and every show. Not a bad week for the video segment producers…bravo!
Who Got the Boot: Her Playboy pics didn’t help Joanna Krupa garner enough votes. Ouch, now that’s personal.
Ah, and now we are left with two underdogs – Osmond & Osbourne and Mya. Just how far will the Os Teams’ fans carry them? No one knows, but we will all find out next week with the finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS Season Nine.

DWTS is just like AI. The hosts say you have to vote if you want your favorite to continue...vote for your favorite...they never say vote for the best! Besides, best lies in the eyes of the beholder...we all have our own opinions.

Hallelujah, by Leonard Cohen
One of my all time favs...
I heard there was a secret chord
that david played and it pleased the lord
but you don't really care for music, do you
well it goes like this the fourth, the fifth
the minor fall and the major lift
the baffled king composing hallelujah
hallelujah...
well your faith was strong but you needed proof
you saw her bathing on the roof
her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
she tied you to her kitchen chair
she broke your throne and she cut your hair
and from your lips she drew the hallelujah
hallelujah...
baby i've been here before
i've seen this room and i've walked this floor
i used to live alone before i knew you
i've seen your flag on the marble arch
but love is not a victory march
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
hallelujah...
well there was a time when you let me know
what's really going on below
but now you never show that to me do you
but remember when i moved in you
and the holy dove was moving too
and every breath we drew was hallelujah
well, maybe there's a god above
but all i've ever learned from love
was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you
it's not a cry that you hear at night
it's not somebody who's seen the light
it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah
hallelujah...
