THE SKINNY: Recently DreamWorks Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of THE SOLOIST at the Paramount Theatre on the Paramount Lot.

THE SOLOIST is an emotionally soaring drama about the redemptive power of music. When journalist Steve Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.) discovers Nathaniel Anthony Ayers (Jamie Foxx), a former classical music prodigy, playing violin on the streets of L.A. Lopez endeavors to help the homeless man find his way back. This starts a unique friendship, one that transforms both their lives.

Seen on the carpet were the stars: Jamie Foxx, Robert Downey Jr., Catherine Keener, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Stephen Root, Justin Martin, Kirsten Lea, Steve Lopez (Author of the book and screenwriter), Susannah Grant (screenwriter), Joe Wright (Director) and the man himself Nathaniel Ayers.

Joining them were guests:  Keith Robinson, Ben Hong, Neal McDonough, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Tom Arnold, Jena Malone, David Thewlis, Anna Friel, Rufus Sewell, Lance Gross, Eva Marcille and Halle Berry.
