I never saw Jericho on tv but got season 1&2 on DVD and watched both seasons in a week and have now seen it more than 3 times(both Seasons) BRING IT BACK! It was a awesome TV series better than anything I had/have seen in a long long Time. My kids love it. Bring back season 3. there is a civil war about to erupt lets watch. NUTS

I think that Jericho is the best show i've ever seen! I am a movie freak and next to never am i emotionaly invested in a show. I have never seen a movie, let along a t.v. show so brilliantly put together as this one! To not make a season 3 would be mad! I heard the theatrical version may not pick-up where the end of season 2 left off, frankly i believe that if it does not pick up where it left off your gonna have a lot of upset, but worse,DISSAPOINTED fans.PLEASE Don't mess up a great thing.

This is a great show! btw are you saying they wont blow up major cities now that you said that? lol btw you notice in the show that the attacks happen in September, I mean kinda like 9/11 but a couple years down the road and much much bigger, and with nukes, just wondering if anyone else notice that. All the same they should continue where they left off, I mean it seem kind like they could start where they left off, being before the next big civil war.

The scenario played out in the series is actually one played by the US Military! Incredible attention to detail, the uniforms, the equipment and terminology! Maybe they pulled it because it was too close to reality. Believe it or not this could really happen! I love the show and it deserves to be a full length movie as long as it contains the original cast. Retrospective or not, I'd like to see the precursor or build up to the detonations. The politics, the underground etc. Then it should come back as a regular series. I agree it ended to abruptly with no conclusion.

I would love to see this movie, and pay money the first day. Especially if it really lays out the events leading up to the attack. This story line is so fascinating. How did this ever get cancelled. I don't think CBS should have ever been allowed to mishandle a gem like this. And the cast is absolutely amazing!!!

I say ABSOLUTELY YES to a "Jericho" movie...for starters in 2010. Then Season 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10... It was the best show ever on TV (including "Lost", "24", "Invasion", "John Doe") Television isn't **** any more. It's the 100+ channel reality "entertainment". Security Code: 007Tx1 (HA!) Somebody bring "Jericho" back. CBS blew it.

I faithfully watched Jericho. I thought it was an awesome series that kept the story and the interest going. Unfortunately, with 500 channels on TV, there is just too much to watch and any given moment and unless you have that "buzz" you won't make it. Only a fraction of shows are making it past 3 and 4 seasons these days. I would love to get some closure on Jericho, a movie, comic or even a new series, anything would be a welcomed addition to the series.

I have the dvds imported from america, i watched jericho on SciFi channel on paid tV and couldnt get enough of it. I have both seasons one and two and i find it unremarkably addictive to watch. People i know are like um whats jericho and turn around and say oh its a boring show. I challenged my friend and she realised it wasnt what she thought it was and now i have her addicted to jericho. Me along with my friends and family and my boyfriend all love the show and await the movie and more seasons! i want to know what happens after they arrived at the airport in texas, i need a HUGE jericho fix! i need to know i cant live with it eating me away! THEY NEED TO MAKE MORE! I want to know what happens to the bomb, what happens to jake, robert and heather and jericho! gahh hurry and make the movie quick! i will pay $100 just to watch it!

OH THANK GOD!!!! Finally! TV viewing has been dark and dismal since the cancellation of the best show since M*A*S*H*. Somebody finally see's the light and a phoenix will rise from the ashes of the nuclear wasteland surrounding Jericho, Kansas! There are very few shows worth watching these days, and none of them can compare to Jericho. For now CW reruns are giving me my fix but soooooooo looking forward to the movie and hoping and praying that the movie will help bring many more seasons to TV. I have not watched CBS since Jericho's final episode. I would love to see Jericho back in any form. TV is a vast waste land of sitcoms and reality shows no other show makes you think like Jericho did. All the characters are great espically Heather and Jake. I work with the public and tell people about Jericho every chance I get. It is amazing how many people I meet that say they loved it and could not believe CBS canceled it.

If it were up to me there would be a Jericho Movie with sequels and prequels, a season 3,4,5&......10 with a viewership that rivaled American Idol. It is a rare thing to find a show so brilliantly acted,directed and produced. I still hold animosity toward CBS for axing Jericho then bringing it back with a halfhearted effort for season 2. The CW has a unique opportunity to take this series and give the viewers not named Nelson what they want. This show just won't die, we won't let it. All the guy said was they were developing the movie - thats a longggggggg way from production. Good luck finding financing, a studio to produce/market it, money to pay CBS Paramount for the rights and money for the actors and special effects. If this is somehow made odds are it will sink Jericho in the same way Serenity (Firefly movie) was the final nail in Firefly's coffin. I guess they could use the unsold movie script and turn it into a novel. I guess it would be better than nothing.

This is great news! As Swenciler mentioned - Neilson couldn't flub-up the Box office sales for a Jericho Movie - and could make it harder for critics to say it "wasn't successful enough" to continue & keep Jericho alive. But to be honest, I'd much rather see them spend $40 Mil (or whatever) on several more seasons of a semi-low-budget TV series with a great story, rather than a flashy/FX intensive EXPENSIVE 2hr flick! If it takes a hit movie in order to get an ongoing series that has potential to run for several years. Think about how many years some shows used to stay on air for, especially since Jericho is a "family friendly show" - but still addresses modern issues/situations that are on peoples' minds... I can easily see myself watching it for another 5-10+ years, and even longer in syndication. I know my folks watched (Little House, The Waltons, and bunch of other shows for fracking ever - *ugh* that sucked as a kid). But heck, my Dad still watches stuff like M.A.S.H., Hogans Heroes, and various sitcoms & shows I'd never have guessed he'd ever watch, much less still be watching them these days = 10-30 yrs later!

Jericho was one of the best series I have seen on broadcast TV since Firefly. Like Firefly, it was killed by the Network without a reasonable explanation being given. Both shows were obviously very popular. I hope that Jericho can be brought back with more episodes. A movie would be nice but, again, like Firefly, it would only leave its fans hungry for more.

I LOVED Jericho and was so sad when they yanked it. It was one of the best and most suspenseful shows I've seen in years. The story was great and so were the actors. I couldn't believe they yanked it and yet kept on so much stuff and casts that were inane, lame, stupid, moronic, etc. I'd be amazed if some network actually had the brains to bring it back, but I'd also be thrilled!!!

All he seems to be saying is that they are DEVELOPING a concept for a movie. IF they had $40 million? Good luck getting that kind of financing with the economy as bad as it is. Jericho already got cancelled twice and the reruns of the CW network are only a hair better than the total junk that aired there in the Fall. They might have more luck going direct to DVD with $5 million budget. Of course it would be cheesy and cheap looking with alot of bad CGI like Starship Troopers 2 and 3, but it would be better than nothing I guess.

I am thrilled beyond words! It gives me hope that there are still people somewhere in the entertainment industry that aren't so brain dead that they think "reality TV" is all TV viewers want to watch. Jericho is such a completely compelling show, and so smartly written, that it was a tragedy when it was cancelled. Bring on the movie, and we'll all be there! And after that... put it back on network TV where it belongs!

A Jericho movie would be awesome with the original cast,But I'm hoping for a season 3 on CBS,living in the mountains we can't get cable so it's network or nothing.This is good news. I was plotting to send CBS a truck load of rubber snakes with little notes attached to each one that said: "Don't Tread On Me" of course borrowing from Johnston Green's Flag shown in one of the scenes near the end of season 2.I figured they probably ate all the 'nuts' sent to them, but what would they do with a ton of rubber snakes? LOL So00...I'll look forward to the movie and to season 3&4&5...

We all heard the "rumors" but it's good to know it's now a fact! But, what else could it be? Jericho remains one of the best series ever aired on television. No wonder The CW chose to air it's repeats...it's beaten out anything they had before on Sunday nights - and this is a series that was cancelled over almost a year ago and has rerun on Sci Fi and Universal HD! In fact, the current episodes they're airing aired 2 years ago on CBS. Now that's longevity! Moreover, the fans have never given up - we continue to write to network exec's and market the series anyway we can and we also work by "word of mouth" handing out DVD's to friends and co-workers to introduce Jericho to more people. Here's to Season 3...I remain confident that we will definately see it thanks to the belief of the fans and the cast and crew of Jericho!
