THE SKINNY: Hey Wildcats! Walt Disney Pictures held the premiere for HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR on October 16th at the Los Angeles’ Galen Center at the University of Southern California. And it was a big premiere…fans screamed as the stars arrived, hundreds of guests showed up to fill the Galen Center, which is an actual basketball court. Most people were dressed in red and white …Wildcats colors. Pompoms were given out. I had heard that they were going to have a pep rally inside the Center.
Walking the long red carpet were the stars from the film: Zac Efron (Troy Bolton), Vanessa Hudgens (Gabriella Montez), Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay Evans), Corbin Bleu (Chad Danforth), Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie), Olesya Rulin (Kelsi Nielsen), Chris Warren, Jr. (Zeke Baylor), Ryne Sanborn (Jason Cross), Kaycee Stroh (Martha Cox), Bart Johnson (Coach Bolton), Alyson Reed (Ms. Darbus), Justin Martin (Donny Dion), Jemma McKenzie-Brown (Tiara Gold), Robert Curtis Brown (Mr. Evans), Bill Borden (Producer), Bonnie Story (Choreographer), Charles Klapow (Choreographer), Caroline B. Marx (Costume Designer), Kenny Ortega (Director/Executive Producer/Choreographer) and Manly, who starts as Sharpay’s dog, but is actually Kenny Ortega’s dog.
Joining them were guest Jennifer Stone, Natsumi Abe, Lauren Storm, Molly Gray, Tyler Welling, Bubba Lewis, Selena Gomez, Brook Kerr, Christopher O’Neal Warren, Alexander Ludwig, AnnaSophia Robb, Molly Beucher, Adam Gregory, Montre Burton, Kyle and Christopher Massey, Brenda Song, Micky Dolenz, Bridger Zadina, Travis Payne, Anna Marie Perez de Tagle, Drew Seeley brought his sister Katie, Lori Loughlin, Becky and Milly Rosso, Alyson Stoner, Meaghan Martin, Jonathan Morgan Heit, Madison Pettis, D.B. Sweeney, Robyn Lively, Nicole Anderson, David Deluise and his daughter Riley, Jack T. Austin, cast of THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER, Rich Ross (President Disney Channel Worldwide), David Henrie, Lucy Hale, Barry Bonds, Kimberly Elise and her daughter Butterfly, Moises Arias, Sterling Beaumon, Sterling Knight, Roshon Fegan, Chelsea Staub, Kevin Smith and family, Ryan Pinkson, Andrew Caldwell, Debby Ryan, Stan Carrizosa, Julianne Hough, Cody Linley, Michael Petersen, and Pau Gasol.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR focuses on what will happen to everyone once they graduate. The singing and dancing is a lot of fun to watch. If you liked HSM 1 and 2, you will enjoy HSM3.
Lucas Grabeel, who stars as Ryan Evans was unfortunately unable to attend the premiere, as he is busy filming a movie.
