I don't get how they decide to can something so good. I mean wasn't it making enough money to survive? Isn't it just about being in the black, paying the bills. A quality show like that has more artistic integrity in its bloody credits than some of the crap that goes on year after year after year has in its entirety. If a movie isn't made i DEFINITELY think a movie should be made, the ending to season three left so many loose ends, it wasn't fair to us fans, or even to the show for that matter. Veronica and Logan NEED to settle their differences and get to together, for GOOD. Everyone knows they should be together and any other way is completely ridiculous. The movie should cover that and end with a bright future for them [[together]]. Mac and Wallace should be in it too! The season four pitch would've lost fans, please don't go in that direction!!!! but PLEASE make the movie!!!! Give it the ending it deserves!!!

I wish that if you were going to cancel the show you would have at least ended something for us die-hard fans out there. I can only hope that somewhere down the line you were going to fix the problems between Veronica and Logan. Please, if there is another network that could get the actors back. I miss that show. It was one of my favorites. I now watch the dvds two or three times a year. That is all we have left of our favorite characters in tv history. I do watch Kristen Bell on Heroes and Jason Dohring on Moonlight but really...it will never be the same as Veronica Mars and Logan Echolls.

This is a retarded reason to cancel veronica mars. If you weren't getting enough viewers... which I HIGHTLY doubt was the real reason.... then YOU should have advertised the shower better. I never once watched VM on TV because it was easier for me to just buy the seasons when they came out... but now I’m glad I didn't because that way I wasn't supporting the CW. all of you at the CW can go to hell for taken away veronica mars. That show was unbelievable and the most unique show i have ever seen. How many shows out there can you truly say have that much humor, character, style, and class as Veronica Mars had. If you couldn't see that your beyond retarded... your brain dead. Veronica Mars was the best show to ever hit the CW and you guys were LUCKY to have it and this is what you do... shut it down. I vote that Veronica Mars goes to a BETTER station like ABC or FOX or something. CW sucks and just lost a lot of views because of their bonehead moves. First canceling charmed and Gilmore Girls.... which I do admit however had kind of run their course and were getting old. BUT Veronica Mars still had sooooooooo much potential to be a GREAT HIT. Who doesn't love a crime fighting teenage sassy girl? With characters like Logan and Weeble and the whole lot of them who just made you laugh out loud. PLEASE PUT VERONICA MARS BACK ON THE AIR... Here in the UK Veronica Mars is on a satellite/cable channel called ‘Trouble’ targeted at the youth market at 9.00pm or (10pm if watching +1). I first started watching the show here a couple of years back when I came across it by accident on another satellite channel in the UK called ‘Living’. As with the USA there was little or no advertising/marketing of the show. As with most of the people that watch Veronica Mars they are hooked straight away. I have introduced most of my friends to the series and they all watch it and cannot believe it has been scrapped. Here in the UK we will be watching the last episode of series 3 tonight. The reality for any TV show is that viewer numbers decide its fate. Yet at the same time the producers and broadcasters can have a major say in whether a show is successful or not depending on the marketing that backs the show. Considering the crap that is still being produced in the USA and I have to say the UK I find it hard to believe how Veronica Mars has been allowed to be cancelled. I and many of my friends put Veronica Mars at the same entertainment and must see level as Friends (rest in peace), The Office (UK version), The Royle Family, Heroes, to name a few. I would suggest to CW Entertainment President’s Dawn Ostroff that CW markets the series at any of the main terrestrial changes here in the UK and dump the satellite small players. The potential for Veronica Mars here is far greater than in the USA. Its potential viewing figures in the UK alone would make it a viable product

I live in Canada and before this summer, I had never heard of Veronica Mars! I found it by luck! I was hooked from the firt episode I watched. I couldn't wait until the next episode. I think it's too bad the show was cancelled. For once there was an intelligent show for teenagers and young adults! I think another network (a smart one) should buy the show and start showing it from the start to attracts new viewers! Oh, and more advertising woudn't hurt!!

I agree with the complaints of other viewers who say that VM was not advertised enough. I think the only thing I had ever heard about the show until this year was seeing it listed in the TV Guide... but my friend owns the show on DVD and now I'm hooked (and very sad that I only have three seasons to look forward to).

ok honestly drawing attention for VM was horrible! you only broadcasted it on the CW. most of my friends dont usually watch the cw but when i show my VM dvds when they are over they fall in love and now they can't get into it b/c it got cancelled. i never saw it advertised on any other channel EVER! VERONICA MARS WAS MY FAVORITE SHOW! now that its cancelled idk what to do. i watched EVERY single episode and couldnt wait for it to come on the next week. My mom always tells me i watch mindless dribble, but VM is a great show that actually uses smarts and it draws in the attention of its viewer! i dont know how you could cancel such a great show!

How can you say you gave Veronica Mars so many chances. You only advertised it on The Cw from what I saw. The cw has only 3 million viewers so how many new fans can you attract? Plus you had Veronica Mars up against the number one show in America AMERICAN IDOL. Too many people were watching that so Veronica Mars took a backseat to the action. How can you say that you gave Veronica Mars a chance to get better ratings?! It barely got half a season this past year! Sure, it was a great show for teens and college students but it was also for the 40+'ers to know that there is hope for our children who are coming of age to continue their education. I was thrilled when the WB and UPN combined and they kept Veronica Mars. Veronica Mars wasn't the usual teen show, VM used intelligence and mystery for the audience. It was a stimulating show. Veronica Mars was one of my favorite shows and I really don't like any of the other CW shows to continue watching CW. It does seem like the channel for the bimbos and himbos with no intelligence included. Maybe you should change "CW" to "SIN".

My favorite, was just getting my friends and family to tune into the CW and it's great shows. Thank goodness that got rid of those girls (Aerie???) who would comment on the show, that was just stupid and prolly lost a big chunch of your audience when you tried that. Veronica Mars shouldn't have been paired with Gilmore Girls (don't get me wrong I like GG) but it really appeals to the Smallville and Supernatural crowd. The writing was excellent and the actors were the best. Great guest starts like Paul Rudd. Fanfrickingtastic! They better make a movie or somethimg

I work in a promo department for a MAJOR network...and I can tell you that the CW only aired episodics for next week's episode after Veronica Mars. The promotion of the show was so lackluster- no wonder they couldn't "crack it"

Veronica Mars was a smart, engaging show, and now you've replaced with shows that are about girls having sex, and a guy who's parents sold his soul to the devil...are you kidding me?! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, I mean honestly. It was the one good show on that station, and now you've maybe got one other good show, but besides that; you've got absolutely nothing. This was one of my favorite shows, you guys really shouldnt count on ratings so much, 2 or 3 days out of the week during prime time I have my VCR recording one channel, my Media Center recording another and I am watching a third, all because of the competition between stations which is ridiculous, why not spread the shows out so that people can watch what they like without having to choose between 3 or 4 great shows that are ALL on at 8pm

I don't know what fans expected. It's sad the show is gone but the audience wasn't there. I don't know what else could have been done. VM was renewed over the higher rated Everwood for its third season. It already received preferential treatment and it still didn't catch on; I'm not sure where this feeling of being slighted comes from. VM was renewed in spite of being the lowest rated show on network television and fans think that's unfair? VM would have been gone on any other network after its first thirteen weeks. There's no good timeslot on network television. It's Rob Thomas' fault that the there was no proper series finale, not Dawn Ostroff's. As for her not announcing the cancellation outright in May, were people really under the impression that it would be saved? I wasn't. They simply didn't want to have reporters asking about VM when they were announcing their new fall schedule during upfronts in May.

You don't give fans false hope, and then not even give a real announcement about it being cancelled... That's the main reason most of us are pissed off.. As for a better timeslot, it was still going up against American Idol.. How does that help?

My problem was never with Veronica Mars being cancelled. I understand the networks reasoning. Although I think they could have done better promotions. My problem was with how it was cancelled. Instead of just coming out and saying that Veronica Mars will end this year, they dragged it out. I felt as if they gave the fans a bit of false hope.
