THE SKINNY: Uwe Boll director of the upcoming vampire flick BLOODRAYNE starring Kristanna Loken (TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES), held a press conference at this year's American Film Market in Santa Monica where he and cast members discussed this project slated for a January 6th release. Additionally, he also discussed IN THE NAME OF THE KING: DUNGEON SIEGE (also starring Loken) in what Boll refers to as his “epic film."
"IN THE NAME OF THE KING: DUNGEON SIEGE, which comes out next year, is a long movie," says Boll. "We might be releasing it in two parts on DVD, but because the movie is super long we had to cut a little. The theatrical release in America is two hours and forty minutes long, but since Peter Jackson is releasing KING KONG at three hours we decided we could get away with it."
Both BLOODRAYNE and DUNGEON SIEGE follow Boll’s previous american directorial pictures ALONE IN THE DARK, and HOUSE OF THE DEAD; all four films are based on popular video games.
